EPOCA, corporate documentaries and event storytelling

Telling what will last.

Corporate documentaries and event storytelling.

Watch the film

Make history. Leave a mark.

An interview on set: the camera operator at work and the subject sitting at a desk

Every company has moments that are meant to last: a founding, a turning point, a launch, a convention, a goal reached together. Most of the time they go by and nobody really tells them.

We tell them in two ways.

Corporate documentaries: the story of a company, its people and its work, made with the care of cinema, from the set to the edit.

Corporate events: conventions, product launches, conferences, where everything happens once and there is no second take. Fifteen years alongside event agencies have taught us how to work in that room.

We shoot an interview with the CEO like a scene from a film. We finish a same-day edit before the gala dinner starts.

We don't make videos you watch once. We make stories that stay.

About this film

Cinema and events.

Epoca is a production company born where cinema meets events. It was founded by Stefano Ricco and Vincenzo Capone: one comes from live music and fifteen years of events with agencies, the other from documentary and writing.

Portrait of Stefano Ricco

Stefano Ricco

Filmmaker

He comes from music: he has directed and filmed concerts and looked after artist communication for independent and major labels, including Universal and Sony Music, working with Mannarino, Tosca, Giorgia and Fabrizio Moro. Since 2020 he has been director and videomaker for Umbria Jazz. For fifteen years he has worked in events alongside agencies and AV companies. On documentaries he is director or cinematographer, and he edits and grades his own work.

Event storytelling

We know the timings and the rules of an event. We stick to them, and tell the story while it happens.

The event film
Not the usual aftermovie: a story with interviews, backstage and the moments that matter.
Same-day edit
Highlights cut on the day and screened at the close.
Interviews
Speakers, management and guests, with film-set lighting and sound.
Content for the room
Openers, intros and LED wall content, in the right formats.
Live content
Vertical videos and reels shot and posted during the event.
A corporate event seen from the floor: the speakers in front of the audience

Why Epoca

The hand of cinema

Light, framing, sound and editing are those of a film set, even when we are shooting an interview in a conference hall.

Fifteen years in the room

We know how to move during a plenary session, how to work with the show caller and the AV crew, and which formats the LED wall needs.

Deadlines we keep

Delivery dates are agreed up front, and met.

A story, not a summary

Even an event video has a story, a beginning and an end.
